R--NGWSP LIDAR SURVEY in accordance with SOW dated Ma

The contract pertains to the acquisition of aerial imagery and LiDAR survey services for the NGWSP LIDAR SURVEY, specifically supporting the alignment of the San Juan Lateral Shiprock Connection Waterline and the Shumway Arroyo. The work is conducted under a Statement of Work dated May, with the solicitation number RFQ1805070, and was awarded following a competitive process managed by the Upper Colorado Regional Office of the Department of the Interior. The procurement falls under NAICS code 541370, which classifies it as surveying and mapping services, indicating a technical, precision-driven scope involving high-resolution topographic data collection for infrastructure planning and environmental assessment. The contract is administered from the agency’s office in Salt Lake City, Utah, with Andrew Taylor designated as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the project, reachable via email and phone. Although the precise place of performance is not fully specified in the data, the scope clearly targets geographic areas associated with the San Juan Lateral and Shumway Arroyo, suggesting field operations will be concentrated in the Four Corners region. The acquisition aims to deliver accurate geospatial data critical for aligning water infrastructure while ensuring minimal environmental disruption, with deliverables expected to meet stringent federal standards for survey accuracy and data fidelity.
