Military & Family Life Counseling Services

The Military and Family Life Counseling Services contract, solicitation number D17PS00077, is an award managed by the Department of the Interior's IBC Acq Svcs Directorate. The primary objective of this initiative is to provide confidential, non-medical counseling services to military service members and their families through the Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) and Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) programs. The execution of the contract involves a complex staffing footprint of rotational counselors mapped to specific military branches and support locations. Administrative requirements include the implementation of an Organizational Conflict of Interest Risk Mitigation Plan, particularly concerning support for the MFLC Resource Request System. The procurement process involved multiple partnering and teaming entities, including firms such as The KonTerra Group and Strategic Resources, Inc., to ensure comprehensive coverage of the global service requirements.
