Custodial Services for DoDEA schools and facilities Europe East and West Germany and Belgium

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) plans to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract valued at approximately $2.66 million to Custodial Enterprises GmbH (CEG) for custodial services at DoDEA schools located in Germany and Belgium. The contract spans a four-month performance period from March 1 to June 30, 2019, under NAICS code 561210. Due to the unique capability and readiness of CEG to meet the required quality and expertise within a limited timeframe, they are the only source deemed capable under FAR 6.302-1(2). This procurement follows the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 for commercial item acquisitions and Subpart 13.5 for simplified acquisition procedures. The services will support DoDEA’s operations in Europe East and West, specifically at the place of performance in Sembach, Germany. Key contacts for this contract include Contracting Officer Arlene Richardson and Contract Specialist Kathy M. Marquez, both located in Alexandria, Virginia. The contract ensures timely custodial maintenance to sustain the educational environment across designated DoDEA schools and facilities in the region.
