The Bureau of Reclamation, under the Department of the Interior, issued solicitation 140R2023Q0092 for motor rewind services specifically for Motor 6, an 800HP 4160V unit located at Folsom Dam in California. The agency intends to award a sole source purchase order to Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair, Inc., as the motor is already located at the vendor's facility, making alternative estimates impractical and costly. Despite the intent for a sole source award, the agency opened the opportunity for other responsible sources to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations. This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 811310. The period of performance is scheduled from June 27, 2023, to September 10, 2023, with a response deadline of June 23, 2023. The contract is subject to U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination No. 2015-5623 Revision 20, ensuring compliance with the Service Contract Act and applicable executive orders regarding minimum wage rates and fringe benefits for the specified region.
