First Data Bank License Renewal

The Department of Justice, specifically the Drug Enforcement Administration's Office of Information Systems/Diversion, intends to award a contract to First Data Bank for the renewal of the First Data Bank Core database. This requirement consists of a base year and four option years to ensure the continued availability of comprehensive drug database elements. These elements are critical for the production of the 24/7 Drug Theft Loss system, as the current infrastructure is specifically designed to integrate weekly updates from this specific provider. Due to the extensive development and modification that would be required to transition to a different database, First Data Bank has been identified as the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency's requirements. This sole-source procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. The action is identified by solicitation number D-19-SI-0369 and falls under NAICS code 511140, with performance taking place in Springfield, Virginia.
