Z--LW MABO Multiple Award Task Order Contract

The Lakewood MABO Construction Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), solicitation 140P1222R0001, is a total small business set-aside issued by the Department of the Interior's National Park Service under the Intermountain Region. This contract establishes a framework for construction, alteration, and repair services with a total aggregate ceiling of 40 million dollars over a five-year ordering period. The agreement utilizes a low price technically acceptable model for task order awards and requires contractors to adhere to strict National Park Service safety practices, OSHA, FAR, and DOT regulations, including the submission of a site-specific accident prevention plan. A significant component of the initial solicitation is a seed task order for Mesa Verde National Park, valued between 500,000 and 1,000,000 dollars, focused on replacing water treatment plant pumps and air compressors. This specific project involves installing redundant air compressors, replacing three high service pumps and motors, and providing new soft starts within a 60-day performance period from the notice to proceed. The contract mandates compliance with U.S. Department of Labor wage determinations for building construction in Colorado and requires detailed reporting on subcontracting limitations to ensure small business participation.
