US Parole Commission

The US Parole Commission Digitization of Records Project, managed by the United States Government Publishing Office for the United States Department of Justice, involves the scanning of approximately 10,000 bound folders containing roughly 3,000,000 pages. The materials consist of varying sizes, specifically 8.5 x 11 and 8.5 x 14 inches, which are two-hole punched at the top and stored in four-sided folders. Following a bid opening on February 28, 2023, Edge Digital Group, Inc. was selected as the awarded contractor for this project under solicitation number USParolecommissionDigitizationofRecordsProject424226R1(2023). The contract emphasizes strict security requirements to safeguard personally identifiable information, requiring the contractor to submit a security control plan after the initial review. The project guidelines were updated via Amendment R1 to include modified specifications and provisions for email bid submissions. Administrative oversight is handled by the Customer Services office in Washington, DC, with all work adhering to GPO publication standards and specific security protocols to ensure the integrity of the digitized records.
