The Missile Defense Agency announced significant changes to the release schedule of multiple Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) requests for proposals, originally outlined during Industry Day in early 2015. Two acquisitions, Facilities Life Cycle Management and Agency Advisory and Assistance Support/Source Selection Facility, will be delayed by approximately 10 to 12 months, now planned for release in the second and third quarters of fiscal year 2016. Additionally, the release dates for Weapons and Missile Engineering and C3BM Engineering RFPs have been adjusted, with the former postponed slightly and the latter moved up earlier than previously scheduled. These adjustments reflect approximate timelines and serve primarily for industry planning. The notice advises industry participants to begin submitting any Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) requests related to the TEAMS acquisitions, with disclosure forms available through a prior FBO special notice and to be submitted electronically to a designated MDA email. Importantly, this announcement does not represent a formal solicitation or government commitment to procure services, but rather provides guidance to the industry on anticipated procurement activities and scheduling updates. The Missile Defense Agency’s Contracting Office based in Huntsville, Alabama, is the point of contact for further inquiries about the updated TEAMS acquisition schedule.
