Workflows Update: New Trigger, New Actions, Unified AI Step ⚡
Fire workflows on custom alerts, send emails as a standalone action, remove pursuits from pipeline, and log notes — plus AI Extract and AI Agent are now a single unified step.

Workflows just got more powerful. A new trigger, three new actions, and a cleaner AI step structure.
What's New
New Trigger: Custom Alert
You can now fire a workflow when a Custom Alert matches — so if you've set up an alert for a specific agency, keyword, or set-aside, that match can automatically kick off any workflow you've built. Custom alerts are a natural trigger point for govcon work, and now they're wired directly into your automations.
New Actions
Send Email Email notifications were previously bundled into the notifications action. Email is now its own standalone action — cleaner to configure, easier to target, and simpler to chain with other steps.
Remove from Pipeline You can now archive pursuits directly from inside a workflow. Build rules that automatically remove opportunities from your pipeline when conditions are met — stale pursuits, low scores, past deadlines.
Log Note The Log Note action has been re-enabled. Automatically write notes to a pursuit as part of a workflow — useful for tracking what triggered an action or leaving context for your team.
AI Extract and AI Agent Are Now One Step
The separate AI Extract node has been merged into the Agent step. Agent now has an optional structured extraction mode where you define the fields you want pulled out — same power, cleaner workflow graph. If you were using AI Extract, your existing workflows continue to work, and new builds just use one unified step.
Why It Matters
Workflows are only as powerful as their trigger and action options. Custom alert triggers mean you can automate on the exact signal you care about. Standalone email, pipeline removal, and note logging fill in gaps that were making workflows feel incomplete. And merging AI Extract into Agent simplifies the mental model for building complex multi-step automations.
