What's New
Spreadsheets in the Proposal Writer understands your workbooks end to end. Instead of flattening a file into a lossy block of text, the agent reads every sheet and every row exactly as they appear, renders any sheet as an interactive grid inside the chat, and lets you edit your bid-package pricing tables directly in the workspace.
How It Works
- 📊 Attach or reference a spreadsheet in a writer task and the agent reads the real file (every sheet, every row), not a summary of it
- Ask it to "show me" a workbook and it renders a live grid inline, with an Open button for the full-screen, Excel-style view (real row and column labels)
- ✅ Open any pricing or bid table under your bid package to edit cells in place: click, type, and it autosaves
Why It Matters
Data-heavy workbooks (pricing sheets, bills of materials, line-item bid forms) used to get mangled when they were squeezed into plain text, which meant numbers you couldn't quite trust. Now the agent works from the exact cells you see, so line items, unit prices, and totals stay accurate, and you can preview and fix them without ever leaving the writer.
