Hi everyone! We've added live presence to the Proposal Writer. Faces in the header show which teammates are in the proposal right now, and the file tree shows which document each of them has open.
What's New
Live presence shows everyone else working in a proposal with you. Their faces sit in the header next to "Back to contract", and small avatars appear on the file rows in the tree.
How It Works
- 👥 Faces appear in the header when a teammate opens the proposal, and drop off on their own once they leave
- Click a face to see their name and the file they have open, then click that file name to open it yourself
- The file tree marks each document with the people currently in it, so you can spot a busy file before you open it
- You never see your own face, and nothing shows at all when you're the only one in there
Why It Matters
A pursuit has one set of files, so two people can be editing the same Volume I with no idea the other is there. Version history tells you that afterwards. This tells you now, while it's still cheap to say "you take pricing, I'll take the technical volume".
Get Started
Open any proposal in the writer. If someone else is in there with you, they're already in the header.
