Hi everyone! We've rebuilt the Amendments tab around the question you actually ask: what did the agency do? Solicitation history now reads as a dated feed of plain sentences, with deadline moves called out by size and direction.
What's New
Solicitation history replaces the old row of "Version N" cards. Every notice on a contract is one entry in a newest-first feed, written as a sentence about what the agency did. A deadline change gets its own callout with the old date, the new date, and the size of the move. Amendments and related documents nest under the stage that opened them, and linked contracts (the sources sought it was released from, the contract it recompetes, the awards it produced) sit on the same rail.
How It Works
- 📄 Open any contract or pursuit and click the Amendments tab
- The summary card gives you Amendments, Net deadline shift, and Responses due at a glance
- Click "Show before and after" on any entry for the exact old and new values, including a word-by-word comparison of the description
- Open "Compare any two versions" to put any two revisions side by side, with every changed value highlighted
Why It Matters
The old tab counted things that were not changes, so "12 changes" was mostly internal bookkeeping and told you nothing. Worse, it invented amendments: an award notice or a justification published under the same solicitation number got diffed against a revision as if the solicitation had been edited. Now a change count means a real change, a deadline move is the first thing you see, and a forecast no longer opens an Amendments tab with nothing in it.
