Hi everyone! We've rebuilt how a pursuit page arrives. Pursuit pages now come back in a fraction of the time on real accounts, and the Contract Breakdown tab sends your browser about a fifth of the data it used to, with every source citation unchanged.
What's New
Pursuit pages used to assemble themselves in single file, finishing one piece before starting the next and asking for the same information more than once along the way. Contract Breakdown also shipped the full source text behind every citation to your browser just so the page could work out which citations to show. The server settles that now, so the text never has to make the trip.
How It Works
- Open any contract in your Pipeline and the overview is there right away, with Documents, Contract Breakdown, Potential Primes, and Activity Logs filling into space already reserved for them, so the page stops jumping as it loads
- Switch to Contract Breakdown and the sections arrive far lighter, with the same citation badges pointing at the same documents in the same order
- Move between tabs and each one loads on its own instead of queueing behind the slowest part of the page
Why It Matters
Measured on production data with a large pipeline, a pursuit page went from about 8.5 seconds to under 2, and the first thing you see now arrives in about half the time. On one real pursuit, Contract Breakdown dropped from 1.9 MB to 385 KB with all 8 citation badges intact. Nothing about the page changed except how quickly it reaches you, and the bigger your pipeline, the bigger the difference.
