Know who holds the work before you bid on a recompete ๐ŸŽฏ

Hey there! We've added Incumbent details to recompete opportunities, so you can see who holds the work today before you decide whether to bid. With the previous award, contract value, and term close at hand, you can make a faster, more informed capture decision.

What's New

Incumbent details now appears on live solicitations as well as forecasts when CLEATUS can trace the opportunity back to the contract it replaces. When we can match the previous award, the incumbent name links to that award record, and the related contract information shows the value, term, and documents from the last cycle when they are available.

How It Works

Find the incumbent

  • Open a recompete from Contract Search, Recommended, or your Pipeline
  • Look for Incumbent on the General Info card, or Forecast Details on a forecast
  • Review every company when more than one contractor holds the work
  • See โ€œNot identifiedโ€ when we could not determine who holds the work. This does not mean the opportunity is new

Explore the previous award

  • Click the award line beneath an incumbent's name to open the previous award
  • Use View Profile to learn more about the contractor
  • Read the old contract's value and current term in the Recompete Of row
  • Open documents from the last cycle when they are available

Check your Pipeline

  • Open Quick View on a Pipeline card to see the incumbent without leaving the page
  • Use the award record and contract history to decide what to research next

Why It Matters

The incumbent is often the company you need to beat. Seeing who holds the work, what the previous contract was worth, and when its term turns over gives your team the context to size up the opportunity quickly. You can spend less time digging through award data and more time deciding whether the recompete fits your strategy.

Get Started

Open a recompete in your Pipeline and look for Incumbent on the General Info card. Click the award record to explore the previous contract and its contractor.

Happy hunting! ๐ŸŽฏ
