Hello everyone! We have expanded Package checks in the Proposal Writer to review your submission against every active row in the compliance matrix. You can catch missing answers, unfinished forms, and other last-minute defects before your package leaves your hands.
What's New
Package checks now verifies more than whether the required files are present. It reads each active compliance requirement and checks the assembled files for an answer. It also looks for placeholder text, unresolved Word comments or tracked changes, unsigned signature fields, and missing amendment acknowledgements.
How It Works
- Open a pursuit in the Proposal Writer and select the Bid Package tab.
- Click Assemble submission, or click Refresh submission if you already built the package.
- The writer checks every active row in your Compliance Matrix against the assembled files. Requirements tied to an evaluation factor or a “shall” or “must” instruction are marked blocking. Other findings are advisory.
- Review the Missing items tab beside your Proposal plan. Each finding shows the matrix row or scan that found it, the requirement involved, and the fix to make.
- Look for additional checks on every packaged file, including placeholder text, unresolved Word comments, tracked changes, and unsigned signature fields.
- When amendments are part of the solicitation, confirm that your package acknowledges them.
- Fix blocking findings and refresh the submission. When only advisory findings remain, the tab changes to Advisory findings and the package reports that no missing proposal items were found.
Why It Matters
A compliance matrix is useful only when the final package answers it. A stray placeholder, unsigned form, or unresolved edit can put an otherwise complete bid at risk. You now have a second set of eyes across the requirements and the files, with clear guidance on what needs attention before you submit.
Get Started
Open any pursuit in the Proposal Writer, select the Bid Package tab, and click Refresh submission to run the expanded check on your current package.
