Catch forecast changes with a new workflow trigger 🔮
Stay ahead of shifting award dates, values, and set-asides with workflows that flag meaningful forecast changes for your team.

Hello everyone! 👋 We've added the Forecast updated trigger to AI Workflows. When a forecast or pre-forecast in your pipeline gets a new award date, value, or set-aside, your workflow can catch it and help your team respond before the change gets lost.
What's New
Forecast updated runs a workflow when CLEATUS picks up a meaningful change to a forecast or pre-forecast. Each run includes the old and new values, so your team can see what moved and decide what to do next without comparing records by hand.
How It Works
Watch the details that matter
- Open Workflows, choose New Workflow, and pick Forecast updated under Opportunities
- CLEATUS watches the estimated award date, estimated value, set-aside, solicitation release date, estimated start date, NAICS code, requirement type, incumbent, contract vehicle, and period of performance
- The trigger also runs when a forecast is withdrawn
- Changes your team makes directly in CLEATUS do not start a run, and archived pursuits stay quiet
Focus each response
- Each run includes a Change Summary with the old and new values, such as “Estimated award date: 2027-01-15 to 2027-04-01”
- Add a condition such as Changed Fields includes “Estimated award date” when only certain changes should reach your team
- Title and description rewrites, plus changes to capitalization or spacing, are skipped so your workflow does not fill up with noise
- Use the workflow to alert teammates, add a note to the pursuit, or create a task to revisit your capture plan
Why It Matters
Forecasts can shift quietly while your team is focused on active bids. A new award date, a larger value, or a changed set-aside can affect your timing and strategy. Now your workflows can surface the changes that deserve attention, so your team can adjust the plan while there is still time to act.
Get Started
Go to Workflows, click New Workflow, choose Start from scratch, and select Forecast updated under Opportunities. You can also describe the automation you want in the What would you like to automate? box.
Happy forecasting! 🔮
