BIRCLAR ELECTRIC & ELECTRONICS LLC

BIRCLAR ELECTRIC & ELECTRONICS LLC specializes in the inspection, preventative maintenance, and service of high-precision engine dynamometers used in environmental and emissions testing facilities. Their technical expertise centers on the calibration, diagnostics, and operational upkeep of AC and DC dynamometer systems—critical instrumentation for measuring engine performance under controlled conditions. This work demands deep familiarity with torque transducers, data acquisition systems, thermal management, and electrical control architectures, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity in federally monitored testing environments. The contractor’s differentiation lies in its ability to execute complex, mission-critical maintenance on sensitive measurement equipment with minimal downtime, supporting continuous compliance with environmental standards. The company has demonstrated direct experience supporting the Environmental Protection Agency, delivering sustained operational services for dynamometer systems at the National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory. This relationship reflects a focus on technical service contracts requiring precision, reliability, and adherence to federal environmental testing protocols. The work performed is not general facility maintenance but targeted, equipment-specific servicing aligned with EPA’s mission to enforce emissions regulations through accurate, repeatable test data. BIRCLAR ELECTRIC & ELECTRONICS LLC operates within the niche of other measuring and controlling device manufacturing, which in practice translates to specialized support for instrumentation used in emissions, power, and environmental monitoring systems. Their market positioning is that of a technical service provider for highly regulated, instrumentation-heavy federal programs, particularly those requiring adherence to NIST-traceable calibration standards and ASTM or SAE test methodologies. As a small business structured as 2K and headquartered in Romulus, Michigan, the company maintains a focused geographic footprint with specialized capabilities in industrial instrumentation maintenance. While no formal government certifications are listed, their contract performance indicates a proven ability to meet stringent federal technical and operational requirements without reliance on formal socio-economic designations.
