E.E. BUILDERS LLC

E.E. BUILDERS LLC specializes in the design, installation, and integration of specialized test infrastructure for physical scale modeling (PSM) facilities, primarily supporting U.S. Department of Defense research initiatives. Their core capabilities center on precision engineering and facility modernization for experimental environments, including the construction and commissioning of advanced test tanks and associated fluid dynamics systems. The contractor demonstrates technical expertise in structural integration, environmental control systems, and instrumentation-ready facility upgrades tailored to naval and maritime research requirements. Their work is highly specialized, focusing on mission-critical test beds that enable accurate hydrodynamic and wave propagation analysis—key to advancing naval architecture and sensor validation. This niche focus on physical modeling infrastructure sets them apart as a contractor uniquely positioned to deliver turnkey solutions for government laboratories requiring high-fidelity experimental environments. The company’s primary agency engagement is with the Department of Defense, where they deliver facility enhancement projects aligned with naval research and development objectives. Their work supports Navy laboratories, particularly at the Naval Research Laboratory in Key West, on projects requiring direct integration with experimental test apparatuses. This reflects a pattern of trusted, mission-specific collaboration rather than broad-scale contracting, indicating deep familiarity with DoD technical standards and laboratory operational protocols. E.E. BUILDERS LLC operates primarily within NAICS 541715, which encompasses applied research and development in physical and engineering sciences. In practice, this translates to engineering services that bridge laboratory design and operational readiness—focusing on hardware-enabled scientific experimentation rather than software or data analysis. Their market positioning is that of a specialized infrastructure contractor serving defense science and technology communities. As a small business structured as a 2J entity based in Key West, Florida, E.E. BUILDERS LLC maintains a localized but strategically significant presence in the defense R&D ecosystem. The company holds no federal certifications but leverages its geographic proximity to key naval facilities and deep domain expertise to deliver high-impact, low-overhead solutions tailored to complex experimental environments.
