SUSTAINABLE DESIGN CONSORTIUM, (SDC) INC

Sustainable Design Consortium, Inc. specializes in environmental remediation and infrastructure support services for U.S. government facilities abroad and domestically. Their core expertise lies in the design and execution of fuel system repairs, underground storage tank replacements, and preventive maintenance for hazardous material handling systems—particularly in diplomatic and military environments. They bring technical proficiency in soil and groundwater remediation, hazardous waste management, and compliance with EPA and DoD environmental standards. The firm also delivers integrated facilities support, including HVAC, plumbing, and building construction services, demonstrating cross-disciplinary capability in maintaining mission-critical infrastructure under stringent operational constraints. Their ability to execute complex remediation projects in politically sensitive or logistically challenging overseas locations distinguishes them as a trusted partner for high-stakes environmental and infrastructure interventions. The contractor maintains a consistent presence with the Department of State, where they routinely support embassy fuel system integrity and environmental compliance in Latin America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. They also deliver remediation and facility upgrades for the Department of Defense, particularly at Army Reserve centers and overseas installations, addressing hazardous material risks and aging utility systems. Their work with the Department of Commerce and General Services Administration reflects a broader role in facilities engineering and operational sustainment. Primarily engaged in remediation services (NAICS 562910), the firm operates at the intersection of environmental engineering and physical infrastructure modernization. Their market positioning centers on mission-critical environmental compliance and infrastructure resilience, serving agencies with overseas operational footprints requiring rapid, compliant, and secure solutions. Sustainable Design Consortium, Inc. is a small business headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, structured as a 2L entity with no federal certifications. While not formally certified, their demonstrated track record in high-sensitivity environments positions them as a niche provider for complex, geographically dispersed government infrastructure projects.
