THALLE CONSTRUCTION CO INC

Thalle Construction Co Inc specializes in heavy civil engineering and water infrastructure construction, delivering complex earthwork, embankment, and structural systems for federal public works projects. Their technical expertise includes the design and construction of reservoir embankments, monolithic concrete structures, and chemical injection facilities, demonstrating proficiency in hydraulic engineering, earth retention systems, and precision concrete placement. The contractor consistently undertakes mission-critical infrastructure in sensitive environmental zones, requiring adherence to stringent hydrologic, geotechnical, and ecological compliance standards. Their ability to execute large-scale earthmoving and structural integration under challenging hydrological conditions sets them apart in the civil construction sector. Thalle Construction has established a strong track record with the Department of Defense, delivering high-stakes civil works for flood control, lock and dam systems, and water management infrastructure. They also serve the Department of the Interior on specialized water quality and treatment facilities, indicating experience with both defense and conservation-focused federal mandates. Their relationship with these agencies reflects a pattern of repeat engagement on technically demanding, long-term infrastructure initiatives requiring regulatory coordination and environmental stewardship. The contractor’s primary focus is in NAICS 237990—other heavy and civil engineering construction—encompassing non-residential, large-scale earth and structural projects such as reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic control structures. Secondary work in NAICS 237110 confirms niche specialization in water and sewer line ancillary infrastructure, including engineered buildings for chemical handling. This positions them as a targeted player in federal water resource and flood mitigation markets, with a clear emphasis on durable, high-integrity civil works. Thalle Construction Co Inc is a small business structured as a 2L entity, headquartered in Hillsborough, North Carolina. While no federal certifications are listed, their consistent award history with DoD and DOI underscores their credibility in the federal construction marketplace. Their geographic presence supports regional mobilization across the southeastern U.S., with demonstrated capacity to operate on remote, federally managed sites requiring logistical precision and environmental compliance.
