THD CONTRACTING SERVICE LLC

THD CONTRACTING SERVICE LLC specializes in the installation, replacement, and renovation of critical heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for federal facilities. Their core capabilities center on plumbing, HVAC, and commercial refrigeration infrastructure, with demonstrated expertise in replacing compressors, evaporators, furnaces, water heaters, and walk-in cooler systems. The contractor delivers turnkey solutions for temperature-sensitive environments, including precise control system integration for USDA agricultural facilities and VA medical centers. Technical proficiency spans mechanical system retrofits, ductwork modifications, refrigerant handling, and compliance with federal building code requirements for energy efficiency and indoor air quality. Their ability to execute complex HVAC and refrigeration upgrades under operational constraints—particularly in active healthcare and research settings—distinguishes them as a reliable provider of mission-critical environmental control services. The contractor has established consistent relationships with the Department of the Interior, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, delivering facility infrastructure upgrades focused on climate control and refrigeration integrity. Work for the Interior Department includes electrical and HVAC system replacements in remote facilities, while VA projects involve life-safety-critical refrigeration repairs at medical centers. USDA engagements center on maintaining controlled environments for agricultural storage and classing operations, demonstrating adaptability across diverse federal mission needs. Primary industry focus lies in NAICS 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors), with supplemental experience in electrical wiring (238210), construction services (236220), and commercial refrigeration equipment installation (333415). This positions THD as a niche provider of integrated mechanical systems for federal infrastructure, particularly in aging or high-utilization buildings requiring precision environmental control. Based in Philadelphia, PA, THD CONTRACTING SERVICE LLC operates as a small business under the 2L entity structure. While no federal certifications are listed, their consistent award history across multiple agencies reflects proven reliability in delivering technical services under federal contracting protocols. Their geographic presence supports East Coast federal operations with a focus on facility resilience and system modernization.
