This is a Safety Improvement project to improve safety at off-ramps along State Route (SR) 13, SR 24, and Interstate (I) 580 & 880 in Alameda County. The project proposes to install red pavement markers, an additional set of wrong-way signs, and upgrade existing damaged wrong-way signs. The project also proposes to upgrade street lighting at the off-ramp terminus at West Bound (WB) I-580/MacArthur Boulevard to enhance safety at the location. These upgrades will help enhance visibility and drivability.
