Cost Benefit Analysis – AI Use Cases
Solicitation # USCA20260804
The Administrative Office of the United States Courts is seeking industry input through a Request for Information to inform the future acquisition of cost benefit analysis services for AI use cases within the federal judiciary. This is strictly a market research initiative with no intent to award a contract; responses will not be evaluated for selection or scoring, and no formal clarifications will be provided during the response period. Respondents are encouraged to outline their commercial pricing models, contract structures, and assumptions regarding scope, scale, and performance to help the government determine the optimal procurement approach—whether a Blanket Purchase Agreement, an IDIQ contract, or another vehicle. The agency is particularly interested in how pricing can be structured per use case size and is seeking illustrative budgetary estimates and delivery timelines to better understand industry norms and capabilities. Respondents must address detailed questions covering past experience delivering AI solutions to court or criminal justice agencies, data governance practices for handling personally identifiable information, and compliance with the Judiciary Information Security Framework, which aligns closely with FedRAMP standards but does not require formal FedRAMP authorization. Questions also probe organizational qualifications including SAM.gov registration, GSA Schedule status, NAICS codes, staffing with Tier 4 suitability clearances, and the skills required for enterprise-level versus program-level cost benefit analyses. The solicitation number is USCA20260804, with responses due by September 4, 2026, and performance expected to be centered in Washington, D.C. All information submitted will be used solely for acquisition planning and may inform future solicitations, which could include revised or expanded requirements based on feedback received.
