10 -- Sole Soure Award to AIS

The contract awarded by HQ ACC CONS at Langley AFB, VA, is a sole source agreement with Advanced Interactive Systems (AIS) for a virtual convoy combat trainer (VCT). This trainer is designed as a fully climate-controlled, 70 by 70-foot, 360-degree structure housing the Advanced Interactive Systems Warrior/Convoy Skills Trainer (WST) 2000. The system integrates two five-lane Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) 2000 units arranged to provide a full 360-degree presentation, alongside a high-fidelity HumVee simulated vehicle and Mark VR Forces CGI software.
