This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 



Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1356 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for hazardous waste removal services. The USDA ARS Madison Location is comprised of Five Research Units (Cell Wall Biology and Utilization, Cereal Crops, Dairy Forage, Environmentally Integrated Dairy Management, and Vegetable Crops) that each perform a myriad of agricultural research activities. The performance of these activities results in the generation of diversified chemical and biological wastes of varying quantities and toxicities.  Wastes may contain - pyrophoric, explosive, reactive, or toxic substances and compressed gases.  Some of the chemicals are dangerous due to their sensitivity to shock, friction, or pressure; others are reactive or unstable for a variety of reasons. In pursuance of this research, the facilities have accumulated commercial grade chemicals and containerized lab waste requiring lab packing.



This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 562112  The small business size standard is $47.0M  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
