The Air Armament Center, Lethal Strike Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source modification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems (LMIS), Orlando, Florida for technical support for the integration of the Joint-Air-To Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) on the B-52 Aircraft as part of the B-52 Avionics Mid-Life Improvement (AMI) Program. The effort includes technical support for general integration, mission planning, and ground/flight testing for a twelve-month period of performance. LMIS is the prime contractor for the JASSM and has the exclusive technical expertise of the missile to provide the support for this integration. The government intends to modify the existing JASSM contract to include this effort.
