This contract provides for powering, hydromechanics, and dynamics for conventional ships, submarines, other underwater vehicles and advanced craft. Task areas under the contract include control system design and validation, computer system conversion support, simulation support, stability and control, ship motions, real-time software development, software configuration management, programmatic support, logistics, system identification, planning, design, and conducting experiments in various hydromechanics and hydroacoustics facilities. This is sole source procurement. Negotiations will be conducted with Computer Sciences Corporation, 3160 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA 22042.
