146-25 Trailers, New and Used

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking proposals to establish a contract for the acquisition of new and used trailers, aimed at supporting the transportation of equipment and materials statewide. Interested bidders are invited to submit pricing for both categories, with the flexibility that used trailers may be sold anytime and are subject to inspection prior to purchase by ODOT. The contract mandates that new trailers should be factory-new, incorporating the latest engineering advancements and standard manufacturer equipment, unless otherwise specified. The chosen contractor will be responsible for the supply of trailers that meet the specified conditions, ensuring delivery is accomplished within 150 days of receiving a valid purchase order, F.O.B. Destination to various ODOT districts and county locations throughout Ohio. Vendors are also required to provide a list of authorized service providers within the state for warranty and repair services, along with detailed literature for each unit bid. The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award, with a focus on ensuring the timely and efficient fulfillment of ODOT’s needs across its twelve districts and eighty-eight county locations.
