This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme has a requirement entitled: 146 AW FSS Food Service. The 146th AW intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) set aside 100% for a Small Business competition that results in award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract. This procurement has given full consideration to and is in full compliance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act (RSA) and Javits-Waner O'Day (JWOD) AbilityOne Program. The general scope of the requirement: The Contractor shall provide full food services to support 1200 meals for the 146th Airlift Wing (AW) members on drill weekends. Contractor responsibilities include: Cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils. Maintaining and replenishing beverages and condiments. Bussing tables in dining areas. Handling food, supplies, and equipment. Upholding quality control standards. Cooking and serving/replenishing food on the serving line. Preparing vegetables/fruits for the salad bar and slicing pies and cakes to ensure continued service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 722310 Food Service Contractors with a small business size standard of $47.0 Million. This synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). In accordance with FAR Part 5.204, this is a Presolicitation Notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for award of one firm-fixed-price contract is intended to be publicized on https://SAM.gov on or about the week of 27 January 2025. The 146th AW FSS Full Food Services performance work statement will be detailed in the formal solicitation when issued. Quotes will be due no less than 30 days from the date the solicitation is issued. The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
