NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia is seeking qualified contractors to supply specified Navy spare parts identified by their National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs). The procurement will be conducted as a sole-source acquisition under FAR 6.302-1 due to the government’s lack of sufficient, accurate data for other sources, limiting the pool to the current approved suppliers. Although this notice is a source-sought announcement and not a competitive solicitation, interested contractors may express their interest and submit capability statements within 15 days of the notice’s publication. However, the government retains full discretion to proceed without competition based on responses. Source approval is mandatory for participation, and NAVSUP WSS will not delay contract award while awaiting approval of new sources, given usual approval timeframes. Contractors not currently approved must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Spares, with guidelines and forms accessible through the NAVSUP WSS website. The effort includes furnishing necessary labor, materials, and facilities to fulfill the purchase order requirements for the Navy spares identified, under solicitation number N0038316RP621.
