This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N62306-16-R-B004 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-89 effective 14 July 2016 and DFARS Publication Notice 20160630. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification Standard code is 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. This is a restricted procurement. The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) intends to issue a sole source contract to High Tech Incorporated. pursuant to FAR 13.5 in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded on a restricted basis as a result of this synopsis/solicitation for the items listed in attached Statement of Work (SOW) as Attachment one (1).
