AI Contract Overview

The contract intends to add 139 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) to an existing corporate contract (SP0740-00-D-9729) with Eaton Aeroquip. These items, which mainly fall under Federal Supply Classes 4730 and 4720, are primarily Eaton Aeroquip-manufactured part-numbered products, though some have other approved sources. The NSNs are available for download online, and no request for proposal (RFP) will be issued as these additions are expected to be incorporated into the current contract. This acquisition is unrestricted, allowing all responsible sources to submit offers or quotes, which will be evaluated based on price, delivery, past performance, and other factors. Specifications, plans, or drawings for the items are not provided. The contract allows for options to extend the contract period up to a total of three years at the government's discretion. Since the government lacks complete, unrestricted technical data for the supplies, only approved sources as identified under the applicable authority (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)) will be considered for award. Some specific NSNs not listed on the public website are noted, and interested parties are encouraged to refer to the official source or contact the contracting officer for detailed information. Questions can be directed to Mary Jo Coffey at the provided contact number.
