DLA Maritime, Portsmouth, Contracting Office, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME intends not to negotiate via full and open competition, a firm fixed-price contract utilizing the procedures under FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation for the Urgent procurement of: 2 each PROP SHAFT SLEEVES, CENTRIFUGAL CAST NI-CR-MO-CB 625 PER MIL-C-24615A, GRADE-B, UNS #N06625. PROVIDED MACHINED TO THE FOLLOWING DIMENSIONS: OD TO BE 28.500" +0.00"/ -1/16"; ID TO BE 26.230" +0.00" /-1/16"; LENGTHS TO BE 12 FT 11 INCH +1/4" /-0.00" WITH A 0.010" CIRCULARITY REQUIREMENT. RT&PT ARE REQUIRED FOR EACH PC. WELD ABILITY TEST PER MIL-C-24615A IS ALSO REQUIRED. OBSERVE NOTES 49, 50 & 51 OF DWG 4678497-L. 3 EACH PROP SHAFT SLEEVES, CENTRIFUGAL CAST CUNI ALLOY PER ASTM-B369-09, UNS #C96400. PROVIDE MACHINED TO THE FOLLOWING DIMENSIONS: OD TO BE 25.250" +1/16" / -0.00"; ID TO BE 22.915" +0.00 INCH/ -1/16"; LENGTH TO BE 9 FT 11 INCH +1/4" / -0.00". ID ROUNDNESS TO BE WITHIN 0.015"; STRAIGHTNESS TO BE WITHIN 0.010" ALONG ENTIRE SLEEVE LENGTH; ID CONCENTRICITY TO BE WITHIN 1/32". RT REQUIRED FOR EACH PC. WELD ABILITY TEST PER ASTM-B369-09 IS ALSO REQUIRED. Items are QA Level 1 with DD-1423 Data Requirements. Instructions, specifications, drawings, testing, and data requirements shall be set forth within the written solicitation. The solicitation, SPMYM3-12-R-4319, shall be posted on or about 19 September 2012 via a separate notification. Telephone requests are not authorized and shall not be accepted. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 331522, this will be a full and open competition. Important notice: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Lack of current registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information may be obtained via the internet at www.ccr.gov or via telephone at 888-227-2423. This notice is an amendment to both SPMYM3-12-R-4319 and PMYM3-12-R-4319 to correct the FAR Parts to be used for this procurement.
