The project generally consists of the painting of Wastewater Treatment Plant interior tank walls, upgrades to the aeration tank interior piping system complete with valves, fittings, and appurtenances, the repair and painting of exterior steel tank walls, the replacement of magnesium anodes for the existing steel tanks, the installation of dissolved oxygen and oxidation reduction potential probes within the existing aeration treatment tanks along with associated controllers and electrical wiring/integration work, the replacement of the existing sludge holding tank blowers and equalization tank blower, and the installation of timers and integration with the controls for the sludge holding tank blowers and the equalization tank blower. Separate sealed bids will be received, by the Municipal Authority of the Borough of Elverson, Chester County, Pennsylvania online via PennBid for the 2024 Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements Project until 12:00 P.M. prevailing time, on March 26, 2024, after which time, Bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid.
