Sealed bids for the construction of 2025 GROUTING PROJECT, Contract CAL-01-24, will be received by the Caln Township Municipal Authority electronically via PennBid™ until 2:00 P.M. local time, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at which time all bids will be opened online. The sewer repair project will involve the testing of all pipe joints and grouting of joints that fail the test for approximately 3,800 feet of 8” diameter gravity sewer located in Caln Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Completion of the work will also include bypass pumping as needed and re-testing of any joints that are grouted. The sewer lines are located in the public road right-of-way, so off-road travel will not be necessary to reach the manhole locations.
