Narrative a) Description Of Project Davis School District will be replacing existing, outdated Cisco Wireless Access Points. All interested bidders MUST read and follow the instructions provided and must understand and be familiar with the E-Rate process to provide a valid response. b) Bidder Disqualification Factors All bidders must be licensed to do business in the state of Utah. We will NOT need any installation or additional services. All questions will be submitted via email to the following address: bdsingleton@dsdmail.net. 4. Scope Of Work a) Listing Of Equipment Requested Manufacturer: Cisco or equivalent, new only - no refurbished equipment bids accepted. Models: Aruba *S1G43A - Quantity 1200 *Q9Y60AAE - Quantity 1200 *R7J28A - Quantity 150 *Q9Y60AAE - Quantity 150 * R7H95A Quantity 2 * H34CME Quantity 2 * JZ197AAE Quantity 2 * S1G33A 20 *Q9Y60AAE Quantity - 20 * S1G75A 20 *Q9Y60AAE Quantity - 20 b) Price Response Equipment must be priced per unit. No price bundling of equipment, licensing, or warranty. Line-Item pricing is required. c) No Installation Required 5. Bid Evaluation Scorecard Price of Equipment - 35 Equivalency of Equipment - 25 Experience with the District - 25 Local/In-State Vendor - 15 Total Points 100 Price of Equipment The highest score will go to the lowest price offered for the equipment specified. Equivalency of Equipment Those vendors matching the requested equipment will be given the highest score. DSD will determine the equivalency of the items listed. Experience with the District Those vendors that have had prior working experience with Davis School District will be awarded more points. Local/In-State Vendors Those vendors with a local presence, locally within the Salt Lake Valley area, will be awarded more points. 6. Terms And Conditions a) Contract Period The awarded pricing will be available through 30 June 2027. b) Equipment Purchase Date The E-Rate eligible equipment will not be purchased until after 1 July 2026. c) E-Rate Contingency The contract will be contingent upon a positive Funding Commitment Decision Letter (FCDL) awarding E-Rate discounts. A purchase order will be sent upon receipt of an E-Rate FCDL. Any such order will not be made prior to 1 July 2026. If a positive FCDL is NOT issued, then the Davis School District may opt out of the contract and not complete the purchase as listed or may purchase part of what is listed in the awarded contract. d) Terms And Conditions Document The contract must follow the terms and conditions as outlined in the attached document to the Form 470 with filename, "DSD Contract Terms and Conditions.
