2026 Asphalt, Emulsions, & Rejuvenating Emulsions

Background The Board of Daviess County Commissioners is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of asphalt, emulsions, and rejuvenating emulsions for the year 2026. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of necessary materials for paving various roads within Daviess County, adhering to the latest specifications set by the Indiana State Highway Standard Specifications. Work Details The contractor will provide asphalt emulsions and hot asphaltic concrete, including but not limited to: - Asphalt Emulsions: AE90S (150,000 gallons), AEP prime, AEPL prime, AET tack (5,000 gallons), SS-1H, AE150, AE90, AEF, PG Binder (Grade 64-22, Grade 76-22, Grade 58-28). - Hot Asphaltic Concrete: Bidders must submit prices per ton for various types including #9 surface (12.5 mm), #5 base (25 mm), #11 surface (9.5 mm), and others as specified. - Rejuvenating/Preservative Seal Emulsions: Bidders are required to provide prices per square yard in place. All bids must include product names, current product literature, and MSDS Sheets. Traffic control measures are also the responsibility of the bidder. Period of Performance The contract will be effective for one year from the accepted date of bid. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various locations within Daviess County. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with the Indiana State Highway Standard Specifications and are responsible for traffic control as per the latest volume of the Indiana MUTCD. All bids must include specific pricing details and product information.
