The Community Library Network (CLN) seeks broadband internet and connectivity service at all its branches. The Internet Service is currently provided through a single direct connection between the Post Falls branch and the service provider, and then travels to the other locations via the WAN. The current internet connection speed at the Post Falls branch is 5 Gbps, and each branch (including Post Falls) has a 1 Gbps WAN connection. The Library will consider several speed options to evaluate the most cost-effective solution (including a minor speed reduction), and the speeds could range from 500 Mbps to 50 Gbps over the term of the contract. The Library seeks to maintain its current architecture with lines that have symmetrical upload and download speeds and a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with up-times of at least 99.99%. Preference will be given to a single vendor that can serve all branches. CLN plans to open a new district administrative headquarters at 1640 E Schneidmiller Ave, Post Falls, ID 83854 in the first half of the 2026 calendar year. A new 1 Gbps WAN connection will be added to this location with the same potential speed ranges noted above for the existing branches.
