Category 1: Franklin Towne Charter Elementary would like quotes for 1+ connection for internet access, ranging in speed from 2Gbps to 10+Gbps or equivalent. Please provide quotes for Fiber or equivalent in addition to whatever other options you can offer within this range.
Please include quotes for a 1 year or equivalent and a 3 year or equivalent contracts in addition to whatever contract lengths/options you can offer.
Please include any installation/configuration and/or special construction/build-out costs as well as quotes for any network components that are necessary to deliver your service that will be billed separately.
As per E-Rate rules, all equivalent solutions will be accepted and evaluated.

Category 2: Franklin Towne Charter Elementary would like quotes for:
Equipment
1+ Firewall bundle or equivalent which includes 1 Fortinet FG-200G device or equivalent with 5-year premium support and enterprise protection or equivalent (preferably FG-200G-BDL-809-60 or equivalent) and all related components, with the option of installation and configuration. The firewall must be able to support a bandwidth up to 10Gbps. The school has approximately 964 students. The devices being used at the school are Ipads and Chromebooks.
4+ Uninterruptable Power Supply/Battery Backup; (preferably APC by Schneider SMT1500RM2UC or equivalent) and all related components with the option of configuration and installation.
4+ Transceivers; (preferably Proline Options FG-Tran-SFP+SR-PRO or equivalent) and all related components including software, licenses with the option of configuration and installation.
1+ Caching Server; (preferably Appliansys Cachebox 230 or equivalent) and all related components with the option of configuration and installation. The school would like this caching server to reduce internet bandwidth consumption by delivering saved web artifacts to the end user. The caching server will need to support 5+ Gbps. There are approximately 965 students who primarily use chromebooks and ipads. There are approximately 120 staff members who primarily use windows laptops. Since there are over 1000 concurrent users, the internet latency increases. There is a 1:1 device ratio.
