The Hennepin County Transportation Department, Traffic Division is doing a test project for longer lasting pavement markings at several railroad crossings located around the county. The material being used is a methyl methacrylate product that will be compared to the current epoxy pavement markings being used by the traffic division. 
Hennepin County plans to install 88 Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) pavement markings at 51 locations along 26 different CSAH's located in 16 different cities throughout Hennepin County. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, traffic control and traffic control supervision. All work needs to conform to the MnDOT "Standard Specifications for Construction" 2025 Edition and all supplements.
