Please submit PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS ONLY , together with any related attachments (i.e., reference lists, equipment lists, required supplemental criteria, bond forms, etc.), as directed in the provided Invitation to Bid and Instructions to Bidders. Please DO NOT include other portions of the provided documents with your submittal and limit lists to the level requested. The sample contract is provided for information only and is not negotiable. Sealed proposals are requested for proposed work consisting of (including all other necessary and appurtenant work) the following: furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to replace the clarifier mechanisms in Primary Clarifier No. 1, Primary Clarifier No. 2, Secondary Clarifier No. 1, and Secondary Clarifier No. 2 at the Redondo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in accordance with the Specifications (see Section 01 11 00 for a detailed description of the work) and Drawings. Only one clarifier can be taken offline at a time to complete the work. The construction window is limited to the dry weather season from May 1 to September 30. Special attention is called to the extreme importance of timely completion of the work due to regulatory and operational constraints that could result in assessment of penalties, fines, and cleanup costs.
