Notice is hereby given that the Vernon Parish Police Jury, PO Box 1548, Leesville, LA 71496, will receive sealed bids until Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud; bids received after the specified closing time will not be accepted. All interested parties are welcome to attend the bid opening.  Bid specifications may be viewed online and bids may be submitted online at www.centralbidding.com.   Bid Forms may be obtained from the Vernon Parish Police Jury, 300 S. 3rd St., Leesville, Louisiana 71446, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday – Friday, by calling 337-238-0324 or emailing belinda@vppjla.com.   Bid envelopes MUST be sealed and marked on outside with company name, item being bid, date and time of bid opening, and contractor’s license number. Failure to seal and mark bid envelopes correctly will result in your bid being rejected.   The Vernon Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 & 2214.   2026 Road Overlay with Base Work Contract to be completed by November 27, 2026   NOTE: Bid must be submitted using the attached Bid Specifications Form and the Louisiana Uniform Public Bid Form.
