Glades Electric Cooperative is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide right of way trimming/clearance to five (5) specific sections of GEC’s service territory during 2027. Please see attached maps for each of the 5 jobs. Please provide a lump sum bid for each individual job. Please note, GEC will work with the selected contractor(s) on the specific order of jobs/feeder. Additionally, depending on job pricing and other factors, GEC has the right to post-pone certain jobs, or a portion of any job, to 2028. GEC has the right to award each job individually to the contractor of choice. This work will include right-of-way clearing and vegetation trimming under GEC’s energized power lines. Vegetation includes trees, branches, shrubbery, etc. Contractor should use mechanical equipment to load and reasonably compact debris into trucks and trailers.
