Full Description

This is a Notice of Intent for Requisition 498108 for a sole source procurement. The Government intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price commercial contract with Concentric Security LLC in order to provide preventative maintenance and emergency repair services on the Nasatka IIId Wedge Barriers; Chamberlain LiftMaster Gate Arms, and Chamberlain Chain Slide Gate for a base year plus four (4) option years. The required preventative maintenance is to ensure the continued functionality and operability of the barriers and liftgates. Concentric Security LLC will utilize their newly developed System Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART) to provide comprehensive and preventative maintenance results. The SMART programming designed and developed uniquely for the United States Secret Service (USSS) Automatic Vehicle Barriers (AVB) is a proprietary patented system of Concentric Security LLC. Only Concentric Security LLC barrier technicians are trained to interpret SMART's algorithms to achieve the appropriate preventative maintenance results on the equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the preventative maintenance as detailed above. Responses may only be sent via email to Ms. Francoise "Frankie" Brent at francoise.brent@usss.dhs.gov. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Submission of information does not guarantee this requirement to become a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to not open the requirement to full and open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions shall be submitted to the Government no later than Thursday, May 16, 2019 by 12:00PM ET. After which time, a Sole Source contract with Concentric Security, LLC for a base year plus four (4) option years is intended to be issued. Late submission of interest will not be considered for this procurement, but may be considered for future procurements.
