The work consists of the contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The following is a summary of work to replace 305 cross ties, 60 switch ties and 10 head block ties. All work shall comply with American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) standards, UFC 4-860-03FA, and the attached specifications. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions IAW FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
