Full Description

This office intends to competitively award a FFP order for one each vehicle, sedan special protected (FSC 2310),to include drivers training.Vehicle shall be assembled as an integral armor structural component design. Armoring shall be performed during assembly line manufacturing of the vehicle. After market, up-amoring of the vehicle is not acceptable. Minimum ballistic protection shall be IAW testing procedures utilized by the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA), Beschussamt Ulm/Mellrichstadt, and U.S. testing certification procedures. Vehicles must conform to current Department of State (DOS) specifications and standards for explosive, blast and arms protection. Vehicles are for overseas use shall meet the applicable requirements of the German Strassenverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung (StZVO). Vehicles shall be delivered 150 DARO or earlier. Delivery shall be FOB destination within Germany. Procurement is being conducted IAW requirements of FAR Part 13, Subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Note 12 applies Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912CM-08-T-0163 will be issued on or about 05 Sep 08 with a closing date of on or about 28 Sep 08. A copy of the RFQ may be requested in writing from Ms. Rostock-Clements via email: contact@example.gov. Telephonic requests will not be honored. Receipt of requests will be confirmed.
