1. Title: Two (2) Electric Powered Delivery Trucks Brand Name or Equal to MotoEV Industrial Buddy 2 Passenger Delivery (EIB-2PD)Alex, LA VAMC 2. Purpose: The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 located at 5075 Westheimer Road, Galleria Financial Center, Suite 750, Houston, Texas, hereby issues the following Sources Sought to Request Information (RFI) with the intent of determining the contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications of potential businesses, nonmanufacturer rule compliance, Buy American Act compliance, Trade Agreement compliance and estimated industry pricing information for market research and estimated budgetary purpose for Two (2) Electric Powered Delivery Trucks Brand Name or Equal to MotoEV Industrial Buddy 2 Passenger Delivery (EIB-2PD) in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) in Alexandria, LA. This contractor shall provide two (2)- two passenger electric delivery vehicles specifically configured for heavy usage, minimal maintenance, and safety to be utilized to transport large food carts to patient care areas at the Alexandria VA Health Care System in Pineville, Louisiana. These vehicles shall be equipped with rear hydraulic lift gates, with safety bumpers installed to prevent mobile carts from falling off the gate. The vehicles shall be Two (2) Electric Powered Delivery Trucks Brand Name or Equal to MotoEV Industrial Buddy 2 Passenger Delivery (EIB-2PD). No additional equipment or installation is required; however, training will be provided by the vendor at the AVAHCS site. Government request that interested offerors complete all questions below, provide required documentation, descriptive literature and authorization letter as described below. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives or responds to this announcement.
3. Objective: To find qualified and certified contractors with the capability to with the capability to provide the following:
The government is wanting to procure two (2)- two passenger electric delivery vehicles specifically configured for heavy usage, minimal maintenance, and safety to be utilized to transport large food carts to patient care areas at the Alexandria VA Health Care System in Pineville, Louisiana. These vehicles shall be equipped with rear hydraulic lift gates, with safety bumpers installed to prevent mobile carts from falling off the gate. No additional equipment or installation is required; however, training will be provided by the vendor at the AVAHCS site. The vehicles must minimally meet the specifications below to meet the organization s needs (as prescribed within the included draft Statement of Work).
