The Department of the Interior, through the National Park Service ConOps Strategic Business Services Contracting Division, is seeking a Remote Controlled Zero Turn 52-inch Tracked Rotary Mower under a Firm Fixed Price solicitation designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The mower, intended for use at the C&O Canal National Historical Park, must meet stringent technical specifications including a 52-inch cutting width, 2.0 to 6.5-inch cutting height range, 3/8-inch spindle reinforcement, 35 to 45 horsepower, mowing speeds of 4 to 8 MPH, the ability to climb slopes of 50 degrees or greater with Fuel Boost technology, ground pressure of 2.2 PSI or less, and the capability to cut brush up to 1.5 inches in diameter. Remote operation requires a connectivity range of 1,000 feet or more, along with Remote Tilt/Drop and Auto-Shutdown features. The unit must come with a warranty of two years or 400 hours of operation.
