26-35 Medium-Voltage Transformer Replacement at the Springfield Wastewater Treatment Plant

The City of Springfield, Ohio, is soliciting proposals for RFP 26-35 to replace a 1,500 kVA pad-mounted transformer at the Springfield Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes the removal of the existing unit, installation of a new three-phase dead-front transformer, replacement of primary and grounding conductors, and full commissioning. A critical requirement of the project is a strict eight-hour maximum outage window for the CMAS building electrical service. All work must be performed according to federal, state, and local utility codes, with the contractor assuming full responsibility for site safety and the satisfactory operation of all installed components.
