The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has awarded contract 8611-6 (solicitation 26-422DNR-DIREC-B-51651) to Tall Timber Farms, LLC, for the Kankakee River State Park Firewood Concession in Bourbonnais, Illinois. This revenue-generating agreement authorizes the vendor to sell Illinois Native Firewood to the public at the campground. The total award amount is 42,500 dollars, with an initial term running from June 1, 2026, through December 31, 2030, and an option for a five-year renewal, not to exceed a total of ten years.
